General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Antiquité Zamani (BCE BE 0784.431.179), based in La Louvière (Belgium), deals in antiques, works of art and second-hand objects. These GTC apply to all reservations and purchases made through zamani.be. By placing a reservation, the buyer accepts these GTC without reservation.
2. Reservation process
- The customer places an online reservation via zamani.be — this is a purchase intention, not a final order;
- Antiquité Zamani confirms after checking availability;
- The transaction is finalised upon receipt of full payment;
- Antiquité Zamani reserves the right to refuse any reservation without giving reasons.
3. Prices and VAT — Special scheme
Antiquité Zamani applies the special scheme for second-hand goods (Art. 58 §4 Belgian VAT Code). The item price is the total selling price — VAT is not shown separately and is not deductible. Shipping costs are subject to 21% VAT (Belgian rate), shown separately. All prices in euros (€).
4. Payment
Accepted payment methods: cash, Bancontact, bank transfer, cheque or online via Mollie (secured). The order is final upon receipt of full payment.
5. Collection and delivery
When reserving, the customer chooses between:
- Personal collection: free collection in La Louvière (Belgium), by appointment;
- Carrier delivery: to addresses in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany. Shipping costs inclusive of 21% VAT are communicated upon confirmation.
6. Shipping policy
For carrier deliveries, Antiquité Zamani prepares the shipment within 2 to 5 business days after confirmation and receipt of payment. No processing on Sundays or Belgian public holidays. Delays may occur during busy periods.
Each object is carefully packaged with appropriate protective materials for antiques and fragile objects. Antiquité Zamani works with reliable carrier partners. Personal collection in La Louvière requires no shipping.
7. Return policy and refunds
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the object.
Procedure:
- Contact Antiquité Zamani at antiquite.zamani@gmail.com before any return, quoting your order number and reason;
- Wait for return instructions before shipping the object;
- Objects must be returned in their original condition, complete and well packaged;
- Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. No return costs for personal collection in La Louvière;
- Once received and verified, refunds will be issued within 14 days via the same payment method used for the purchase.
8. Authenticity and condition of objects
Antiquité Zamani makes every effort to describe each object accurately. Reproductions, copies or tourist souvenirs are expressly noted in the description. The buyer accepts the second-hand nature. Despite careful expertise, an error cannot be entirely ruled out; in such cases an amicable resolution will be sought.
9. Liability
Antiquité Zamani accepts no liability for illegal or inappropriate use. The buyer is responsible for the lawful conservation and use of acquired objects.
10. Intellectual property
The content of the site (photos, texts, logos) is the property of Antiquité Zamani and may not be reproduced without written authorisation.
11. Personal data and privacy
Antiquité Zamani collects only strictly necessary data: email and password upon account creation, delivery address only when carrier delivery is chosen. Under GDPR (Art. 17), the customer has the right to erasure on request: all personal data will be anonymised. Sales receipts are retained for 7 years (accounting obligation), then fully anonymised. 12. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought. Belgian law applies. Competent courts: district of La Louvière (Belgium). Consumer mediation: mediationconsommateur.be.
13. Acceptance
Any reservation implies full acceptance of these GTC.
